Media Savvy Training Solutions is a Community Interest Company based in the North East, promoting education and creativity in the media and arts. We deliver fixed and bespoke accredited workshops to schools and marginalised groups, such as young offenders, single mothers, and BME collectives. The business operates as a social enterprise and is be limited by guarantee.The company offers a variety of creative practices in workshop format, always taking age, ability, interests and individual needs into consideration. We use a wide variety of professional software and work in a way that our students don’t feel overwhelmed, developing customised worksheets when necessary.
We also use high-end production equipment and facilities, allowing our students to get a hands on approach in all phases of work with us. The projects carried out during our workshops can be functional and fulfill certain needs of an individual student or entire group.
The projects may also be purely art / creative driven with no other specific purpose. Short films, animations, leaflets, websites and computer games are just a few examples of the types of projects that can be created during our sessions.
As a CIC we intend for our workshops to be accessible to anyone who would like to be involved in creative practices in media and arts related skills. Our main priority is to work in educational facilities and to give marginalised / disenfranchised groups access to opportunities not previously available.
